Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside Liz Harris, an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, to support and guide her in growing her practice, and she generously agreed to join us for a Q&A session to reflect on her journey. Her experiences provide valuable insights for other sole practitioners who might be contemplating what it’s like to work with us.

Liz discusses her initial reasons for reaching out to us, highlighting the specific challenges and obstacles that were holding her back in her business and keeping her from growing. It’s inspiring to hear her recount the profound realisations she had after our very first session together. She shares the key changes and improvements she immediately implemented in her practice, which led to dramatic results.

Liz also came to realise there was a significant untapped growth opportunity within her practice; patients who weren’t fully aware of all the different ways she could help. One of the most rewarding parts of her journey has been the financial growth she has achieved simply by uncovering and serving the unmet needs of her existing patients, allowing her to leave her 20-year NHS career behind and fully dedicate herself to her own business.

Many sole practitioners are investing their money in the wrong areas; signing themselves up for more clinical training, buying new devices, trying to keep up with the latest trends – but real growth comes from tapping into the mountain you’re already standing on

Liz’s story isn’t just about growth in numbers; it’s also about finding the elusive balance between work and life that so many of us strive for. She talks about how shifting her focus has not only transformed her practice but has also positively impacted her personal life.

Whether you’re just starting out in aesthetics or are already a few years into your journey as a sole practitioner, we encourage you to take a few moments to watch this video. Liz’s insights might just inspire you to take the next bold step in your own journey.
